▸ New to the Nation?

Start here

Everything a new member needs to find their footing — how the org works, how to get involved, and where everything happens. Five waypoints and you’re flying with us.

ROUTE PLOTTED · RECRUIT → CITIZEN OF THE NATION
  1. WP-01Enlist

Send your application through the enlistment form — a callsign and a few words about how you like to play is all it takes. An officer reviews every application, and you’ll hear back quickly.

    Enlist with the Nation
  2. WP-02Join the comms

Discord is where the org actually lives — announcements, event pings, voice comms on op nights, and the crew hanging out between them. Drop into introductions and say hello; nobody stays a stranger long.

  3. WP-03Pick your lane

Security, Industrial, or Logistics — and twelve career fields inside them, from dogfighting to salvage to medical. Set a primary and secondary focus based on what you love to fly. There’s no wrong answer, and you can change course anytime.

  4. WP-04Fly your first op

Ops are posted on the calendar in the Command portal — open a briefing, claim a seat, and show up. No ship required: crew seats on gunnery, engineering, and medical stations always need filling. Attendance is credited automatically.

  5. WP-05Grow with the Nation

Progression here is meaningful participation, not a grind. Flying ops credits your record and your career field on its way from Trainee to Master; service off the flight line — mentoring, recruiting, logistics — gets logged and signed off by the command staff. Ranks follow naturally.

    How credit works
▸ How the Nation works

Participation, not paperwork

Contribution, not XP

No time farming, no daily quotas. Showing up to ops auto-credits your record; everything else is logged and counts too.

Career fields

Twelve specialty tracks with tiers from Trainee to Master. Fly your focus role in ops and you climb — simple as that.

Two sign-offs

Off-book service (mentoring, recruiting, logistics runs) is reviewed by a Master Chief, then a Vice Admiral. Real credit, fairly given.

Ranks that mean something

Each rank has clear requirements you can check anytime in the Command portal — no mystery, no politics.

▸ Where things happen

Three places to know

Discord

Announcements, event pings, voice comms, and the community between ops. If it’s happening, it’s posted here first.

Fair questions

Asked by every new recruit

Do I need to be good at the game?

No. Every profession and every experience level is welcome — plenty of us learned the ’verse flying beside someone patient. Say you’re new in Discord and someone will take you under a wing.

Do I need to own a big ship — or any ship?

No ship required. Multi-crew ops always need gunners, engineers, medics, and cargo hands, and flying a seat in someone else’s ship is half the fun (and still credits your record).

Is there a schedule I have to keep?

None. Experiences, not obligations — no quotas, no mandatory nights. Fly when you can; the calendar is there when you’re ready.

How do promotions actually work?

Each rank lists concrete requirements — ops attended, time in grade, service items — visible in the Command portal. Meet them and you enter the promotion queue for command sign-off. Participation, not grinding.

Where do I find events?

Ops land on the Command portal calendar and get announced in Discord. War nights and special events get pinged well ahead of time.

Who do I ask when I’m stuck?

Anyone, honestly — but Discord is fastest. Officers and veterans answer questions daily, and there’s no such thing as a dumb one here.
